Sarjun's Burqa goes to Regina Film Festival

Filmmaker Sarjun KM's upcoming film Burqa, starring Kalaiyarasan and Mirnaa, has been selected to screen at the Regina Film Festival. The film revolves around two strangers who are forced to spend a night together. They develop a liking for each other through their conversation and also discuss gender and religion-based discrimination. 

Kalaiyarasan, who is awaiting the release of Pa Ranjith's The Victim, also has films like Natchathiram Nagargiradhu and Titanic Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum in the lineup. Sarjun last made Blood Money, starring Priya Bhavani Shankar and Sirish in the lead. Mirnaa, on the other hand, was last seen in Priya's Anantham.
