Trailer for the third instalment in the Halloween film franchise following Halloween and Halloween Kills titled Halloween Ends releases online. The slasher film is based on characters written by The Thing director John Carpenter and Debrah Hill. The popular horror-slasher franchise, which started with Halloween in 1978, currently has twelve films, comic books, novels, video games, and several merchandises.

Halloween Ends, directed by David Gordon Green, is written by Danny McBride and the director himself. It marks the return of the iconic horror character Michael Myers, the central character of the Halloween franchise. The trailer shows us Jamie Lee Curtis’s character being stalked by Micheal Myers, a callback to the events from the original film.

The film also includes Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Will Patton, Rohan Campbell, and Kyle Richards. James Jude Courtney once again spills on the mask of Micheal Myers to terrorize the citizens of Haddonfield.

Even though the Halloween film franchise will probably continue with more sequels and possible revivals, Halloween Ends is confirmed to be the last film in the franchise for Blumhouse Productions. As it is tradition for the slasher-horror franchise to release around October to catch the Halloween festival, Halloween Ends is scheduled to release on 14 October 2022.
