The Indian premiere of The Gray Man happened earlier today in Mumbai and Cinema Express was present at the event that was attended by the film's directors Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo alongside Dhanush and other celebrities like Jacqueline Fernandez and Vicky Kaushal. Dhanush was seen sporting a veshti and photos from the premiere have gone viral. 

Before the premiere, while addressing the audience, Dhanush said, "I was surprised they (the Russo brothers) knew about me. Whenever I had chats with the team, I would keep asking how Russos know about me. It was a question I had kept asking. Their clarity and focus are amazing. They are focussed on what they want and they don't let you go till that happens."

While Dhanush's first international film is The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, his latest venture, The Gray Mark will mark his debut in Hollywood. "I surrender myself to the filmmakers. Anand Rai is here, and I'm a big admirer of his work. He found me for Raanjhanaa. Those from the Tamil industry asked why I was risking it. I wanted to explore, take the chance and take the risk. I receive what they have to say and bring my own element."

Also starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Wagner Moura and Julia Butters, The Gray Man, which is based on Mark Greaney's 2009 novel of the same name, is scheduled to stream on Netflix from July 22. 

Meanwhile, Dhanush has films like Thiruchitrambalam, Naane Varuven and Vaathi in different stages of production.
