A Quiet Place: Day One, prequel to the widely acclaimed alien invasion thrillers A Quiet Place 1&2, is set to release in 2024. The film was previously announced to release by the end of this year but now Paramount Pictures have reportedly pushed the theatrical release to 8 March 2024.

John Krasinski directed both the first and second instalments in the franchise and is returning as a producer for the prequel. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller are also co-producing the film. A Quiet Place: Day One is being directed by Michael Sarnoski, who gained attention for his 2021 film titled Pig with Nicholas Cage in the lead.

Details regarding the Quiet Place spin-off are currently being kept under wraps but it will reportedly follow a new group of survivors during the early days of the alien invasion.

Another John Krasinski project, titled If, has also reportedly been pushed to 24 May 2024. If is written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Ryan Reynolds in the lead along with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, John Krasinski, and Steve Carell.
