Emmy Nominations 2022: Zendaya becomes the youngest two-time nominee

Zendaya, the American actor, has scripted history by becoming the youngest nominee ever as well as the youngest two-time nominee at the Emmy 2022. 

The nominations for the awards were announced on Tuesday. Euphoria Season 2, the American teen drama, earned 16 nominations. 

The 25-year-old is nominated for Euphoria Season 2 under the Best Actress in Drama Series and for producing and writing original lyrics for two songs featured in Euphoria Season 2I’m Tired and Elliot’s Song

Following the announcement, the actor took to her Instagram account to express her excitement.

In 2020, she became the youngest recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in season 1 of the drama series, created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.
