Josh Duhamel joins season 2 of Disney+'s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers

CE Features

Actor Josh Duhamel is all set to star opposite actor Lauren Graham in the second season of Disney+'s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

The actor will play a character named Gavin Cole, who is an NHL player-turned-coach. Gavin, an inspirational, charming and hardcore coach, runs the summer institute where The Mighty Ducks go in the second season.

The news of Duhamel's casting comes after the exit of actor Emilio Estevez in November. The actor, who played Gordon Bombay in the show, had left due to contract dispute and creative differences.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is showrun by Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith, who also executive produce. Steve Brill, Graham, George Heller, Brad Petrigala, Jordan Kerner and Jon Avnet also executive produce.

Duhamel was recently seen in Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy. He will soon be seen in NBC's The Thing About Pam alongside Renee Zellweger and in Shotgun Wedding opposite Jennifer Lopez.
