Anirudh Pisharody joins 'Never Have I Ever' Season 3

Anirudh Pisharody will be appearing in a recurring role in the third season of the hit Netflix series Never Have I Ever. The actor is known for her roles in 9-1-1 and The Goldbergs. Pisharody will play the role of Des, an Indian American teenager who is very similar to Devi in his smarts but goes to an elite private school. 

The Netflix series is created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher. It is a coming-of-age comedy about the life of  a first-generation Indian-American teenager Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan). She is an overachieving high school sophomore who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.

The show also stars Poorna Jagannathan, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Richa Moorjani, Ramona Young and Lee Rodriguez. It is executive produced buy Kaling and Fisher along with 3 Arts Entertainment's Howard Klein and David Miner. Fisher also serves as Never Have I Ever’s showrunner and writer.
