The release of the much-awaited A Quiet Place spin-off film has been postponed. Many films like Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 are being pushed due to concerns regarding the performance in theatres worldwide, with the new wave of COVID-19 pandemic due to the Omicron variant.

The untitled spinoff film, which was slated to release on March 31, 2023, will now release on September 22, 2023.

The second instalment, which was released last year, opened up the universe beyond the Abbott family. Though there is no information regarding the plot of the spinoff film, it is speculated that the film won't follow the Abbotts.

This is not the first time a  A Quiet Place film is being pushed due to the pandemic. A Quiet Place II, which was supposed to hit theatres in March 2020,  was released over a year later, in May 2021.
