Fox Studios is developing a musical drama tv series titled 13 Songs, with British musician Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac on board as executive producer.

Written by Will Reiser and Jonathan Prince, the series will be directed by Jonathan Levine (of Nine Perfect Strangers). 13 Songs will follow a musician named Jasper Jones and his once-popular rock band The Grift. Jasper is diagnosed with terminal cancer decades after The Grift fell out of the public eye. With only a few months to live, he chooses to reconnect with the band to record a final album of thirteen songs as a final farewell to his fans.

Reiser and Prince also executive produce the series along with Fleetwood. An official release date is yet to be announced.
