It has been announced that actors Shirley MacLaine and Amy Schumer have joined the cast of the second season of the hit murder mystery series, Only Murders in the Building. The news came through Martin Short, who essayed one of the main roles in the first season and executive produced the show. However, their roles are currently under wraps. 

Short has also revealed that Teddy Dimas, the character played by Nathan Lane, will be returning for the second season. The first season featured Short along with Selena Gomez and Steve Martin as a trio of three true crime-obsessed strangers who find themselves caught up in the middle of a mysterious murder scene in their New York City apartment building. 

The show was met with positive critical reception and was renewed for a second season in September last year. The production of the second season is currently underway.
