Actor Anthony Ramos has joined the cast of Disney+'s upcoming Marvel series Ironheart.

The latest in Marvel's slate of titles in Phase 4, the series, written by Chinaka Hodge, tells the story of a young genius named Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a character that was introduced to the Marvel universe in the comics in 2016.

Further details about the plot are yet to be revealed. Though reports suggest that Ramos will play a pivotal role that will eventually become a major part in MCU's future, details of the character are unavailable currently. An official release date is yet to be announced.

Ramos is best known for featuring in titles such as A Star is Born with Lady Gaga, Hamilton, and In the Heights. He is all set to play the lead role in next year's Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
