Amazon Prime Video's recently released series Reacher has been renewed for a season 2.

Reacher is based in the book series written by Lee Child. The first season of the show, which is largely adapted from the first book in the series titled Killing Floor, follows Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson), who is wrongly arrested for murder after stopping in the small town of Margrave, Georgia. The veteran military police investigator has to work to clear his name while also stumbling into a greater conspiracy than he ever could have imagined — one that includes familial ties and holds deeply corrupted roots within the community.

Apart from Ritchson, the cast of Reacher's Season 1 includes Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Hugh Thompson, Maria Sten, Harvey Guillén, Kristin Kreuk, Currie Graham, Marc Bendavid, Willie C Carpenter, Maxwell Jenkins, and Bruce McGill.

The series is executive produced by showrunner Nick Santora, Child, Don Granger, and Scott Sullivan, with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost for Skydance.

Season 1 of the series is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. A release date for season 2 is yet to be announced.
