Actor Margaret Qualley, known for her roles in Once Upon a Time in HollywoodMaid and The Leftovers, is set to play the lead role in The End of Getting Lost. The film is reportedly moving ahead at Amazon Studios, and is an adaptation of an upcoming novel by Robin Kirman. Reports suggest that Paul Mescal, who appeared in  Normal People, is in talks to star in the film.

Billed as a mystery thriller, the story is set in the '90s and follows a married couple, played by Qualley and Mescal on their honeymoon in Europe, where things go for a toss when the wife suffers an accident. The film will be directed by Deniz Gamze Ergüven, whose 2015 film Mustang was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars 2015, while Kirman has adapted the novel to screen.

Actor Dakota Johnson will be producing the picture along with Ro Donnelly tough TeaTime Pictures. Qualley will also be serving as an executive producer. She also has Sanctuary directed by Zachary Wigon coming up.
