Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer trailer to release before Avatar: The Way of Water?

According to emerging reports, there is a rumour that a new full-length trailer to Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Oppenheimer will play before the screening of Avatar: The Way of Water in the coming week. 

The makers of the film had already released a short teaser video on Universal Pictures’ Youtube channel, the innovative teaser is playing on a loop and also features a running countdown to the film’s release on 21 July 2023. 

The speculation is backed by the fact that Nolan tends to release full length trailers for his films during the month of December.  Avatar: The Way of Water is currently scheduled to release on 16 December. 

Oppenheimer is based on the life of reputed Physicist J Robert Oppenheimer who headed the US Government’s Manhattan Project which was involved in developing the atomic bomb.

The star-studded cast of the film has Cillian Murphy playing the titular role while the rest of the cast includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Gary Oldman, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid,  James D'Arcy, Kenneth Branagh, and Casey Affleck.
