Actor Thomas Doherty has completed filming for his upcoming film Dandelion. Billed as a romantic drama, the film will also star Kiki Layne.

The film will mark the second feature for writer and director Nicole Riegel after her debut film Holler. The upcoming film is produced by Rian Cahill of Griffin Drive Productions, Adam Cobb, and Pete McClellan with Riegal. Meanwhile, Layne serves as an executive producer.

According to Collider, Dandelion has Layne starring in the titular role. She is a hapless musician with a hope to achieve something by overcoming the obstacles on her way. She lives in Cincinnati and decides to take a job in front of a biker rally in South Dakota in a bid to keep her career afloat. Then, she happens to meet a struggling guitarist Casey (Doherty), who invites her to join his nomadic musicians' band. During the travels, Dandelion begins discovering who she is as an artist and eventually falls in love with Casey. The film is expected to release in 2023.
