Sarah Michelle Gellar says her upcoming supernatural thriller series Wolf Pack is not what people expect. The teen drama series is based on the book of the same name Edo van Belkom which was first published in 2004. The series is created by Jeff Davis who is best known for creating Teen Wolf and Criminal Minds

Sarah Michelle Gellar is best known for starring in thrillers like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cruel Intentions, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The series revolves around two teenagers whose lives are changed after a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Michelle Geller is reportedly playing an arson investigator named Kristin Ramsey in the show.

The actor revealed that she was “blown away by the first season which is full of plot twist after plot twist.” Talking about what the audience could expect from Wolf Pack in an interview with Den of Geek, the actor said “I would say it’s really scary. I think that’s the one fun thing that I haven’t really gotten to dip my toe in too much. I did I Know What You Did Last Summer. Scream is funny. Grudge is scary. But I haven’t gotten to tell those fun stories. I think the other thing that really got me, and I didn’t say this earlier about Jeff, but one of the ways he got me was the stories he wants to tell.”

Wolf Pack is currently scheduled to premiere on 26 January 2023.
