Apple's upcoming series, My Glory was I had such Friends, has been scrapped after the leading star Jennifer Garner exited the production.

Based on Amy Silverstein's novel of the same name, Apple had commissioned a straight-to-series order of the show in 2018.

Garner had to let go of the series, backed by JJ Abrams' Bad Robot and Warner Bros TV, due to scheduling conflicts.

Incidentally, if the show had gone on floors, it would have marked the reunion between Garner and Abrams after Alias.

Meanwhile, Garner's collaboration with Apple will happen through the series, The Last Thing He Told Me, which is based on Laura Dave's bestselling novel, and is backed by Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine banner.
