Sarah Pidgeon and Tanzyn Crawford on board Tiny Beautiful Things adaptation

Sarah Pidgeon of The Wilds fame and debutant Tanzyn Crawford are lastest addition to the cast of Tiny Beautiful Things, currrently in development at Hulu. The series is an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Cheryl Strayed and is being produced by ABC Signature and Hello Sunshine. 

Previously announced cast of the series include Kathryn Hahn and Quentin Plair. Liz Tigelaar is the creator and writer of the show, which follows a woman named Claire (played by Hahn) who reluctantly emrabces an anonymous identity of advice columnist, Dear Sugar, and soon finds popularity and respect, while going through mid-life marital crisis.

According to the synopsis, the story will be told 'in multiple timelines with astonishing intimacy, nerve and candor, she excavates the beauty, struggle and humor in her own life to show us that we are not beyond rescue, that it’s our stories that will ultimately save us'.

Pidgeon is reportedly set to essay the younger version of Young Cliare, while Crawford will play Rae Kincade, the queer teenage daughter of a Clare and Danny (played Plair)

Rachel Lee Goldenberg, whose directorial credits include HBO Max's Minx, is set to direct the first two episodes of the show.
