Matthew Fox to headline thriller series Last Light

CE Features

Actor Matthew Fox is all set to make a comeback to the small screen with the upcoming thriller series Last Light. The project marks the actor's first TV project since Lost, which ended its run 11 years ago.

Fox is cast in a lead role opposite Downtown Abbey star Joanne Froggat in the Peacock series.

Based on a novel of the same name by author Alex Scarrow, the story follows Andy Nielson (Fox), a petrochemical engineer, his wife Elena (Froggatt), and their two children. While on a business trip to the Middle East and separated from his family, Andy realises the world's oil supply has been compromised, threatening to throw society into chaos. As the situation deteriorates, each family member will sacrifice everything to find one another, despite the distance and the dangers that separate them.

Patrick Massett and John Zinman will serve as showrunners and executive producers.

Dennie Gordon (Jack Ryan, Goliath), will helm the show. Fox will also serve as the executive producer alongside his manager William Choi.
