Actors Margaret Qualley and Christopher Abbott are set to headline the upcoming thriller, Sanctuary.

Micah Bloomberg, the co-creator of Homecoming, has penned the script for the film. The shooting of the film was recently wrapped up in New York.

Directed by Zachary Wigon, Sanctuary is set over the course of a night in a single hotel room, reported Variety.

The story is about a dominatrix (Qualley) and Hal, her wealthy client. About to inherit his late father's position and fortune, Hal tries to end their relationship, but when his attempt to cut ties backfires, disaster ensues.

Backed by David Lancaster and Stephanie Wilcox of Rumble Films, Sanctuary is co-produced by Ilya Stewart (Hype Film) and Pavel Burian (Mosaic Films).

Meanwhile, Qualley will next be seen in Maid and an upcoming Netflix limited series from John Wells. She will also begin production on Claire Denis' film, Stars at Noon, opposite Taron Egerton. Abbott, who was recently seen in Aubrey Plaza's Black Bear, will next star in Yorgos Lanthimos' film, Poor Things.
