Michelle Williams, Jude Law team up for Firebrand

The film is set to enter production soon

Actors Michelle Willaims and Jude Law will be starring in Firebrand, the psychological horror thriller from filmmaker Karim Aïnouz, who is best known for helming the 2019 Portuguese film, The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão.

The film will tell the story of Queen Catherine Parr, the sixth and final wife of Henry VIII. Michelle Williams will be essaying Parr, while Law will portray Henry VIII. The film will be written by Jessica Ashworth and Henrietta Ashworth, both of whom have previously penned Killing Eve. 

The film, which is being produced by Brouhaha Entertainment, will enter production soon.

Meanwhile, Williams was recently seen in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and she has Steven Spielberg's The Fabelmans and Kelly Reichardt's Showing Up in her pipeline. Law, on the other hand, will be seen in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and  Peter Pan & Wendy.
