Actor Brett Tucker will play a recurring role on Fox's upcoming dance dramedy show The Big Leap. The actor joins a cast that includes Scott Foley, Simone Recanser, Teri Polo, Piper Perabo, and Anna Grace Barlow.

Written by Liz Heldens, The Big Leap is inspired by a UK reality show and is a show-within-a-show that takes viewers on a journey of self-acceptance, body positivity and empowerment at any age. The story follows a group of diverse characters who want to change their lives by participating in a potentially life-threatening reality dance show that builds to a live production of Swan Lake.

Tucker is all set to play a character named Linus, who works as a boom operator on the set and is a potential love interest for Julia (Polo).

The series hails from Heldens, Jason Winer, Sue Naegle, 20th Television and Fox Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Tucker stars in a recurring role in Station 19 for ABC as well as FX’s The Americans. His other credits include Mistresses, McLeod’s Daughters, Thor: The Dark World, Spartacus, Neighbours and Thunderstone.
