Marvel announces revised release dates of phase four films

Several Marvel titles set to premiere in 2022 and 2023 have been shifted from their original release dates and the studio has announced revised slots. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was initially scheduled to release on March 25, 2022. The Sam Raimi directorial will now be releasing on May 6, occupying the slot originally set for Thor: Love and ThunderThe Chris Hemsworth-Taika Waititi film will instead hit screens on July 8, 2022. 

In a similar vein, Ryan Coogler's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be moving away from its July 2022 release date and instead open on November 11, a date initially set for The Marvels. Nia DaCosta's The Marvels will now open in theatres on February 17, 2023. The move will push Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to July 28, 2023. 

However, the third Guardians of the Galaxy film has retained its original date and will release on May 5, 2023.

On the other hand, the newest Marvel film, Eternals will hit screens on November 5 this year.
