Disney+ has announced that its new animated series titled Baymax will be premiering on the streaming platform in the Summer of 2022. The announcement was made as a part of Disney+ day, an event organised to mark the streamer's second anniversary. The trailer of the series has also been unveiled online.

Baymax follows the robot, which was originally introduced in the 2014 animation film, Big Hero 6, and the film has already sprung a spin-off show titled Big Hero 6: The Series, which spawn three seasons beginning in 2017 and ending earlier this February.

The one-minute-twenty-second long trailer shows the health care robot helping patients, often leading to funny upshots.

Don Hall, who helmed the original 2014 film, has developed the show. Further details such as the other cast and crew are yet to be announced.
