Robbie Williams' biopic Better Man to begin shoot in early 2022

Robbie Williams' biopic Better Man will be helmed by Michael Gracey and the artist will appear as himself in the film

Robbie Williams' biopic titled Better Man is scheduled to begin filming in Melbourne, Australia in early 2022. The project is to be helmed by Michael Gracey, who also worked on The Greatest Showman

According to reports, the film will offer a look at the experiences that shaped Williams' life and person on and off the stage. Williams is one of the successful and best-selling artists of all time. The star rose to fame in 1989 with his group Take That before he launched a successful solo career. 

Better Man will also see the artist appear as himself. Some of his songs will be recontextualised in the film, while others are re-interpreted. This film was confirmed by Australia's federal government and the Victoria state authorities on Friday, December 3. it will be distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Roadshow Films. 
 
The biopic will benefit from Film Victoria's incentive program and the federal producer offset scheme.
