CE Features

Netflix has announced the cast of Tim Burton's upcoming live-action Addams Family series titled Wednesday. The series has ten regulars namely Thora Birch, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Emma Myers, Naomi J Ogawa, Joy Sunday and Percy Hynes White.

They join Jenna Ortega, who is set to star as the titular Wednesday Addams, and Catherine Zeta-Jones (matriarch Morticia Addams), and Luis Guzman (Gomez Addams).

Written by Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar, the coming-of-age is a supernaturally infused mystery, which charts Wednesday Addams’ (Ortega) life as a student at Nevermore Academy. As she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, she has to solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

Burton executive produces with Gough and Millar, who will also serve as showrunners on the series. Kayla Alpert, Steve Stark, Andrew Mittman, Kevin Miserocchi, Jonathan Glickman and Gail Berman will also serve as executive producers.
