It has been announced that Annabelle Sethupathi, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles, will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar on September 17. The announcement was made earlier today along with the film's first look poster. 

Directed by Deepak Sundarrajan, the film features a brigade of well-known faces in supporting roles, including Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Radikaa Sarathkumar, and Vennela Kishore. Produced by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram through Passion Studios, Annabelle Sethupathi will be also be releasing in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film's promotional material is expected to release shortly.

The film marks Vijay Sethupathi's third straight-to-streaming release after Ka Pae Ranasingam and Navarasa and Taapsee's return to Tamil cinema after the 2019 release, Game Over.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi's next, Laabam, is set to release in theatres on September 9.
