Tyson Ritter joins the cast of Prisoner’s Daughter

Actor-singer Tyson Ritter, known for his roles in Preacher, Desolate, and Lodge 49 has joined the cast of Prisoner’s Daughter, directed by Catherine Hardwicke. The announcement makes him the latest addition to the cast, which includes Brian Cox and Kate Beckinsale.

Billed as a family drama, the film has been written by Mark Bacci and follows Max, played by Cox,  an e former prisoner who’s struggling to reconnect with his only daughter Maxine, to be played by Beckinsale, as well as his grandson. According to reports, Ritter will be Maxine’s ex-husband named Tyler.

The film will be produced by Sam Okun Productions, Oakhurst Entertainment, and Capstone Pictures. 

Meanwhile, Ritter's other acting credits include BetasParenthoodPeppermint, and Gloria.
