Actors Brian Cox and Sinqua Walls will star in and executive produce a drama titled Mending The Line.

Written by Stephen Camelio and set to be directed by Joshua Caldwell, the film will begin production later this month.

The story follows an injured young soldier (Walls) in Afghanistan, who arrives at a VA hospital and meets a Vietnam veteran (Cox) at the facility who teaches him to fly fish, hoping it will help the young man deal with his physical and emotional trauma.

Mending The Line will be produced by Carl Effenson of Artimage Entertainment, Kelly McKendry of August Point Productions and Scott MacLeod of CKM Entertainment, alongside Caldwell and Camelio. Mark Comora, Kyle David Crosby and Roger Goff also will serve as executive producers.

Meanwhile, Cox will reprise his role as Logan Roy in the upcoming season of HBO’s Succession. Walls can be currently seen in the Netflix film Resort to Love.
