Netflix's film series adaptation of Annie Barrow's New York Times bestselling book series Ivy & Bean has roped in Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jane Lynch, Sasha Pieterse, Nia Vardalos, Garfield Wilson, Jaycie Dotin and Marci T House to star.

The group will join the previously announced cast including Keslee Blalock, Madison Skye Validum, and Lidya Jewett.

Directed by Elissa Down, the film series is penned by Kathy Waugh and Jeff Stockwell. It follows Ivy and Bean, who never expected to be friends. Ivy is a quiet, thoughtful, observant individual while Bean is exuberant, fearless, and extroverted. However, an adventure reveals that sometimes opposites can become the best of friends.

Blalock is set to play Ivy, Validum will play Bean, and Jewett will play Nancy in the one-hour family series.

Ivy & Bean is produced by Anne Brogan and Melanie Stokes as well as Lionsgate TV backed Kindle Entertainment.
