Oscar-winner Emma Stone has been signed to reprise her role as the titular anti-hero in Cruella 2. It is unclear now whether the sequel will be made exclusively for theatres or Disney+, or whether Cruella 2 reach OTT  on the same day of its theatrical release like Black Widow. It is being said that the actor will be getting proper compensation regardless of the medium. 

As previously reported Cruella director Craig Gillespie and screenwriter Tony McNamara are both returning for the sequel. costume designer Jenny Beavan, who got wide recognition for her work in the first instalment is expected to be roped in for the second too. There is no clarity on when the film will go on floors and hit the theatres. 

Emma Stone will next be seen in her own production venture Poor Things directed by Belle Baxter.
