The trailer of Dancing On The Grave, the upcoming crime docu-series was released by Prime Video on social media on Tuesday.

“The investigative unscripted series takes a deep-dive into the spine-chilling murder of Shakereh Khaleeli, that took place in the early 90’s in Bangalore,” reads the synopsis of the series, which is written and directed by Patrick Graham with Kanishka Singh Deo serving as co-writer.

The docu-series weaves a set of material, including archival footage, news clippings, interviews and dramatisations, while exploring the murder of Shakereh Khaleeli, a well-known and wealthy heiress. The series is divided into four parts and also features the perpetrator himself besides throwing light on the various facets of the case that dates back to almost 30 years ago.

The trailer shows a peek into the life Shakereh, a heiress of a wealthy and respectable family. Having it all, she yet left everything behind to marry another man. The docu-series takes a look at what prompted Shakereh to act out the way she did and the events that led to the day she disappeared without a trace? Dancing On The Grave will premiere on April 21. It is written and directed by Patrick Graham and co-written by Kanishka Singh Deo.
