Published: 15th July 2019

The teaser of Yash Raj Films’ War, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, is out. The action thriller film is directed by Sidharth Anand and also stars Vaani Kapoor. The project went on floors in September 2018 under the working title ‘Hrithik Vs Tiger.’

In the teaser, we see the two action heroes engaged in a lethal showdown. The expansive set-pieces feature motorbikes, sports cars, monoplanes and deadly combat vehicles. The film has been shot in Spain, Georgia, Italy, Portugal and Sweden and India. The plot revolves around Tiger, who is pitted against his guru played by Hrithik. Vaani, who made her Bollywood debut in Shuddh Desi Romance and was last seen in Befikre, is also glimpsed in the teaser.

War is scheduled to release on October 2, 2019. The film is touted to include an epic dance-off sequence between Hrithik and Tiger. Sidharth Anand is known for directing the films Salaam Namaste, Anjaana Anjaani and Bang Bang.

War marks Hrithik Roshan’s second release this year after Super 30. Tiger Shroff was last seen in Student of the Year 2. His upcoming projects are Baaghi 3 and the Hindi remake of Rambo (also directed by Sidharth).
