Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. The actor disclosed her condition, while posting a picture of her dubbing for her upcoming film Yashoda. However, that did not stop Samantha from performing some action sequences for the film. The makers have now released the behind the scenes footage of the film where the actor is seen getting trained by action coordinator Yannick Ben.

The footage shows Ben demonstrating Samantha a few stunts before the actor performs it. “All the time we make sure the actor is safe, so we try to make sure that they perfect the choreography. First we train with the stunt performer to make sure they know the exact timings. Then we make the actor perform, once we know everything is safe,” said Ben.

The action coordinator, who has also worked with Samantha in the second season of The Family Man, also expressed his fondness for the actor. “I like working with her because she is very dedicated. She is willing to give something good and as action director, we want actors who are ready to give themselves fully for the action sequences.”

Emphasising how his style of choreography is to keep the sequences look real, Ben added his stunts borrows styles from boxing, kickboxing, Judo, and mixed martial arts (MMA).

Yashoda is written and directed by filmmaker duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan. The film will be released in five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The film, appears to be primarily set within a hospital, and will touch upon topics like surrogacy.
