RRR bagged the best foreign language film and best song for Nattu Nattu, during Critics' Choice Movie Awards

It's been raining accolades for the RRR team. After bagging the Golden Globes Award for the Naatu Naatu song, the team has been one again showered with yet another recognition at Critics Choice Awards. RRR bagged the best foreign language film and best song for Nattu Nattu.

MM Keeravani, who composed the music for RRR , took to Twitter to share his joy. “Returning home after receiving 4 international awards for RRR including Golden Globe - with gratitude to Ramojirao garu & all the mentors who’d enriched my music by making me cross the boarders of Telugu states. Balachander sir, Bharathan Sir, Arjun Sarja and Bhatt Saab,” an excited Keeravani tweeted.

The composer also shared a moment he had with ace filmmaker James Cameron and said how the latter watched RRR twice and called it “ocean full of excitement”.

“And he complimented on how the music in RRR varies in the volume and body unlike in typical western movies. A great honour and recognition for my work,” Keeravani added.

RRR is directed by SS Rajamouli and stars Ram Charan and Junior NTR as the leads. Set during the British colonial era, the film is a fictional take on two revolutionaries- Alluri Seetarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
