Ashok Galla announces his next project

Ashok Galla, who made his debut in the 2022 action-comedy Hero, is all set to start work on his second film. The sophomore film of Ashok, the nephew of Mahesh Babu, was announced today with a pooja, and the film will be helmed by Guna 369 director Arjun Jandhyala. 

While Awe director Prasanth Varma writes the story, veteran writer Sai Madhav Burra is in charge of the dialogues. The yet-to-be-titled film marks the maiden production venture of Somineni Balakrishna, who will be backing the film under his Lalithambika Productions banner. 

The pooja ceremony was attended by the who's who of Telugu cinema. While actor Venkatesh sounded the clapboard, Namrata Shirodkar switched on the cameran and Boyapati Sreenu directed the honorary first shot. 

Bheems Ciciroleo of Dhamaka fame will be composing the music for the film. Prasad Murella and Tammiraju are onboard the project as the cinematographer and the editor, respectively.

The other details of this project, including the title, and the rest of the cast and crew will be announced later.
