Sarathkumar also part of Venkat Prabhu-Naga Chaitanya film

Sarathkumar will be next seen in Ponniyin Selvan as Periya Pazhuvettaraiyar

We had earlier reported that Venkat Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were collaborating on the Tamil-Telugu bilingual, tentatively titled, NC 22. It has Krithi Shetty as the female lead. Sarathkumar has also joined the cast. He is reportedly playing a prominent role in the film, marking his first time collaboration with Venkat Prabhu.

Sarathkumar is also part of another Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Varisu/Varasudu, starring Vijay in the lead. The veteran will be next seen in Ponniyin Selvan, in which he plays the role of Periya Pazhuvettaraiyar. Sarathkumar has some other exciting projects coming up. He is making his Hindi debut with the remake of Soorarai Pottru. In a recent media interaction, he also confirmed a sequel to his 1997 box-off hit Suryavamsam and a possible reunion with his Pachaikili Muthucharam director Gautham Vasudev Menon for a new project.
