Anupama Parameswaran, Kavya Thapar on board Ravi Teja's next?

Ravi Teja, who has a multiple projects in slate, is reportedly teaming up with cinematographer and director Karthik Gatttemneni for an upcoming project. The film, billed as a stylish actioner, will reportedly feature Anupama Parameswaran and Kavya Thapar as the female leads. However, there is no official word regarding the film or the casting. Reports say the the filming of the project is currently in progress in Poland.

Karthik made his debut as a director with the Nikhil Siddartha-starrer, Surya vs Surya in 2015. His credits as a cinematographer include Karthikeya (2014) and its recently released sequel, Disco Raja (2020), Ninnu Kori (2017), Premam (2016) and Awe (2018), to name a few. He is also the cinematographer of Ravi Teja's next, Dhamaka, which is set to release in cinemas this December. The yet-to-be-titled film will mark his return to direction after seven years.

While Karthik has worked with Ravi Teja earlier, the new film marks the first collaboration between the actor and both Anupama and Kavya.

Anupama was recently seen in Karthikeya 2 and has 18 Pages coming up. Kavya, on the other hand, made her debut in Telugu cinema last year with Ek Mini Kartha and will be next seen in the Tamil film, Pichaikaran 2.
