Happy Birthday Shruti Haasan: Actor’s first look in Prabhas-starrer Salaar out

On the occasion of Shruti Haasan’s birthday, her first look in Prabhas-starrer Salaar was released by the filmmakers. They wished the actor and also introduced her character in the film. She will play Aadya in the project helmed by Prashanth Neel whose ticket to fame is the pan-Indian film KGF starring Yash.

Salaar was announced in 2021 and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. They are also the producers of the KGF series. The Prabhas-starrer will reportedly see Kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy play a pivotal role as well. 

The music for Salaar will be composed by Ravi Basrur while the cinematography for the project is by Bhuvan Gowda. Initially, reports suggested that the film was a remake of Prashanth’s debut Kannada movie Ugramm. The director, however, clarified that Salaar was not a remake and that the script was indeed written for actor Prabhas.
