Telugu film shootings halt: Dil Raju clarifies they don't intend to stop for months

After the Active Telugu Film Producers’ Guild had decided to withhold shootings from August 1, and it has been four days since the filming has been suspended, Dil Raju has cleared the air that they are not in intention to stop shootings for months.

Stating that he has no personal agenda and he is working for the better of the industry, Dil Raju who is heading the organisation, said that they have formed four committees to address the problems faced by Telugu film industry, such as issued concerned with OTT, VPF charges, revenue percentage, wages of the film artists and cost of production. "All producers have placed a responsibility on my shoulders. I have no personal agenda. I am working for the sake of the cinema," Dil Raju said.

Producer Kalyan C also said that the shootings were stopped in order to resolve the issues and denied that there were any differences among producers. He also added that Producers' Council and Film Chamber of Commerce are also in favour of the decision.

Many big ticket films’ shootings, such as Pushpa-The Rule, Khushi, The Ghost, Ravanasura, have been put on hold currently.
