Actor Prabhas, who attended the pre-release event of Sita Ramam, the upcoming Telugu film starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, asserted that theatres are like temples for the film industry.

While encouraging the audience to watch the film in the theatre, Prabhas said, “Sita Ramam is a film that should be watched in theatres. We don't stop going to the temple because there is God in our Pooja Room. Likewise, theatre is the temple for our industry.”

He further appreciated the cast and crew of Sita Ramam. Dulquer also said that his film is a larger-than-life film with excellent music and technicalities and hence added that it would be best enjoyed on the big screens.

Produced by Aswini Dutt under the Swapna Cinema banner, the film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and presented by Vyjayanthi Movies. Sita Ramam will hit the theatres on August 5.

Sita Ramam is a romantic period drama set between the 60s and 80s. The film also stars actors from various industries, including Rashmika Mandanna, Gautham Menon, Tharun Bhascker, Sumanth and Bhumika Chawla, among others. The technical crew consists of cinematography by PS Vinod and Vishal Chandrashekhar on the music. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. Sita Ramam is made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
