Balakrishna's next officially launched

We had previously reported that Nandamuri Balakrishna will be teaming up with filmmaker Gopichand Malineni. The project was formally launched on Saturday. The film has been tentatively titled NBK 107. Filmmaker VV Vinayak switched on the camera, while Boyapati Sreenu clapped for the first shot directed by Harish Shankar. 

Directors Koratala Siva, Bobby, Buchi Babu Sana were also present at the event. The film stars Shruthi Haasan, who worked with director Gopichand on Balupu and Krack, will be starring as the female lead, marking her first collaboration with Balakrishna.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will have music by S Thaman.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna's Akhanda is set to release on December 2.
