A still from the trailer

The trailer of Koogle Kuttappa, starring KS Ravikumar, Tharshan, and Losliya, was released earlier today.

The trailer was released by Silambarasan TR on his Twitter handle. The video, spanning more than two minutes, reveals more details about the plot of the film. A spiteful relationship between a robot named Kuttappa and an elderly man (KS Ravikumar) turns into an inseparable bond. However, we soon realise that Kuttappa may not be far from Chitti 2.0 from Enthiran, and that it might pose a risk to the innocent man. The man's son (Tharshan), along with his love interest (Losliya), has to be vigilant about this unlikely bond.

Koogle Kuttappa also stars Yogi Babu, Manobala, Maariappan, and Prankster Rahul. Bankrolled by Ravikumar's RK Celluloids, the film is jointly directed by his erstwhile assistants Sabari and Saravanan, who have worked with the filmmaker for more than a decade.

With music by Ghibran, the film has cinematography by Arvi, editing by Praveen Antony, and art direction by Sivakumar.

Koogle Kuttappa is the official Tamil remake of Malayalam hit Android Kunjappan Version 5.25. Directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, the 2019 film starred Soubin Shahir, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saiju Kuruppu, Mala Parvathy and Megha Mathew.
