Here's when the update for Thalapathy 67 is dropping

We had previously reported that Vijay will be reuniting with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a new film after the success of their last collaboration, the 2021 film, Master. The new project, tentatively titled Thalapathy 67 has reportedly gone on floors earlier this month and no update from the film has been officially announced by the makers owing to the release of Vijay's latest film Varisu which was released yesterday. 

It's now known that the film's update will be announced soon. In a recent press interaction, Lokesh has now confirmed that the news about Thalapathy 67 will be out in 10 days. The announcement is expected to confirm the cast and crew of the film but it's highly unlikely that the makers will now confirm whether the new project is a part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe. 

Recently, director Gautham Menon confirmed that he is part of this film and according to sources Sanjay Dutt, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Trisha, Mansoor Ali Khan and Arjun are also said to be on board Thalapathy 67.
