H Vinoth opens up about his film with Dhanush

Filmmaker H Vinoth is awaiting the release of the Ajith Kumar-starrer Thunivu, which is set to hit the theatres on Wednesday. Ahead of the release, the director has been on a promotional spree. In a recent interview with a YouTube channel, the filmmaker hinted about his upcoming project. Earlier, reports were doing rounds that Vinoth may collaborate with Dhanush. And in the recent interview, he revealed that he has pitched a story to Dhanush. The filmmaker said that he first pitched a story of a conman, a grander version of Sathuranga Vettai, to Ajith, however, that did not materialise. He added that he pitched that story to Dhanush. 

It may be noted that Vinoth directed Ajith Kumar in Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai, apart from Thunivu. And if the upcoming project takes off, it will mark the first-time collaboration between Vinoth and Dhanush. Meanwhile, Thunivu, produced by Boney Kapoor, is billed as an action drama centred on a bank heist. On the other hand, Dhanush is currently busy working on Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheshwaran.
