Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film screenplays released as books

Lokesh Kanagaraj had a happening 2022 after the massive success of his film Vikram starring Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.

While the director is working on the script of his next with Vijay, the screenplays of Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master, and Vikram have recently been released as books. This news comes following the release of the screenplay of TJ Gnanavel’s Jai Bhim, which starred Suriya, Manikandan, and Lijomol Jose. 

All of these books are to be available for purchase at the 46th Chennai Book Fair 2023. Lokesh is working on Vijay’s project currently titled Thalapathy 67. It is speculated that the film will bring back the hit combination of Vijay and Trisha. Apart from them, although big names like Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Mysskin are being attached to the project, only Gautham Vasudev Menon's presence has been confirmed by the team.

The film reportedly went on floors in December 2022 and Vijay is expected to start shooting for his parts by the end of this month.
