Aparna Das pens heartfelt note for her Dada co-star 

The film also stars Kavin in the lead role

Kavin and Aparna Das’ Dada released in theatres on Friday. With the film largely to be a family entertainer, Aparna penned a heartfelt note thanking her co -star and her opportunity of playing a role in the film. 

In the note, Aparna wrote, “Thank you kavin for being there always. Thank you for being the best co-actor. I have known you for more than a year now. Thank you for giving me #dada. I have seen you work so much for this film. Be it any department of the film you were always present. Against all the odds you fought and made it right.”

Aparna also praised Kavin for his resilience and contribution to Dada to make it successful. “So many things tried to pull you down but u stayed strong against everything and made this film look beautiful. I wanted to say so many things in all the interviews or whenever I got a stage to talk but I never could but just want to tell you if you were not there this film wouldn't have gone anywhere.” 

Aparna also admitted to having said in many interviews of how Kavin is short-tempered, but added that he “only fought for the right things”. 

Besides the main leads, Dada features a host of known faces, including Bhagyaraj, Aishwarya Baskaran, VTV Ganesh, Pradeep Antony, Harish K, and Fouziee, among others. Helmed by debutant Ganesh K Babu, the film is backed by S Ambeth Kumar under the banner Olympia Movies.

The technical crew of Dada includes cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K, with music composed by Jen Martin. The film is edited by Kathiresh Alagesan.
