Director Sudha Kongara injured with hand fracture 

Director Sudha Kongara, who is currently busy with the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, has injured herself and has suffered a fracture on her left hand. The director shared the same with a photo on Twitter, also revealing that she will be taking a break for a month.

The Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan, reprising the roles of Suriya and Aparna Balamurali, respectively. The music for the film will be composed by GV Prakash, who composed the music for the original as well. Suriya will be featuring in a cameo in the film. 

Sudha, who made her directorial debut with the Telugu film Andhra Andagadu (2008), has won five awards, including Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay at the 68th National Film Awards.
