Director Shankar shares Indian 2 update

On Tuesday, director Shankar took to Twitter to share a photo of himself with Kamal Haasan. Giving updates about his upcoming films, the director wrote, "Thank you for this power-packed schedule Kamal Haasan sir. See you again in May! Will be moving from Indian 2 to Game Changer for the climax!!!"

Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1996 film. It is co-produced by Lyca Productions in association with Red Giant Movies. The upcoming film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, and Bobby Simha in prominent roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Ravi Varman handles the camera. 

Game Changer is the Telugu debut of Shankar as a director. The film stars Kiara Advani alongside Ram Charan in the lead role. Karthik Subbaraj has written the story of Game Changer. The film also stars SJ Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Nassar, and Samuthirakani among others in prominent roles.

Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Thaman will be composing the music for the film. With Tirru and R Rathnavelu handling the cinematography, Shameer Muhammed will be editing Game Changer.
