In the recent past, there were several speculations regarding National Award-winning filmmaker Sudha Kongara's next project. While some noted that actors Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and Silambarasan have been in talks with Sudha, the only confirmed piece of information was about the producers of the film.

With Hombale Films, known for producing blockbuster films like the KGF franchise and the recently released Kantara, confirmed to be backing the Sudha project, the latest speculations about the film is that Silambarasan and Keerthy Suresh have been finalised as the leads.

Earlier, Hombale had hinted at the Sudha Kongara directorial being based on true stories. However, an official announcement regarding the star cast for the project is yet to be made.

Meanwhile, Keerthy, who was recently seen in the Malayalam film Vaashi, has Dasara alongside Nani in Telugu and Maamannan in Tamil. On the other hand, Silambarasan is basking in the glory of Vendhu Thaninthadhu Kaadu's success, and will next star in Pathu Thala.
